FLATLAY CHECKLIST
Please gather them in a small box or pouch and have it ready on the morning of your wedding. You can hand it to a bridesmaid or your coordinator so everything is easy to find when I arrive.
This allows me to begin styling and photographing your flatlays right away, while you enjoy your morning with peace of mind. Here’s a list of items that work beautifully (don’t worry if you don’t have everything!)
FOR THE BRIDE
- Veil
- Perfume bottle
- Shoes
- Jewelry (earrings, necklace, bracelet, hair accessories)
- Engagement ring & wedding bands
- Something old, new, borrowed, blue
- Custom hanger (for the dress shot)
- Heirloom items or special keepsakes
FOR THE GROOM
- Shoes
- Cufflinks
- Watch
- Tie or bow tie
- Boutonnière (if available early)
- Vow book
STATIONERY & EXTRA ITEMS
- Invitation suite (1 full set, including envelope & stamps)
- Vow book (if using)
- Save the Date
- Menu cards / Place cards
- Programs
- Wax seals, ribbons, or other custom details
- Ring box (velvet or custom box)
- Loose flowers or greenery (ask your florist to set a few aside)
- Ribbon or fabric swatches in your wedding colors
- Any keepsakes from your story
